{"id":114,"date":"2010-06-02T17:34:44","date_gmt":"2010-06-02T16:34:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.interactiveclassroom.net\/?p=114"},"modified":"2010-06-02T17:36:08","modified_gmt":"2010-06-02T16:36:08","slug":"kodu-in-the-klassroom","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.interactiveclassroom.net\/?p=114","title":{"rendered":"Kodu in the Klassroom!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Since my last post I have spent a lot of time playing with Kodu, with new versions of the Beta being release regularly by Microsoft, the most recent being <a href=\"http:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/downloads\/details.aspx?FamilyID=57a23884-9ecd-4c8a-9561-64bfd4fa2d3d&amp;displaylang=en\" target=\"_blank\">1.0.48.0<\/a>. With each new version\u00a0 the stability and usability increases significantly. The current version works really well on the PC with a keyboard and mouse although having now invested in an X-Box <a href=\"http:\/\/www.interactiveclassroom.net\/flyer.pdf\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: inline; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; border: 0px;\" title=\"Flyer\" src=\"http:\/\/www.interactiveclassroom.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/Flyer.png\" border=\"0\" alt=\"Flyer\" width=\"244\" height=\"184\" align=\"right\" \/><\/a>controller this would have to be my preference. I picked up a wired PC one for just \u00a314.99 from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.play.com\/Games\/Xbox360\/4-\/719734\/Official-Xbox-360-Wired-Controller\/Product.html\" target=\"_blank\">Play.com<\/a>. This really increases the playing experience and I know the students will love this method (especially as they\u2019ll be tricked into learning!!) I\u2019m hoping to purchase around 15 next term so I will at least have enough for the students to share.
